Can I DIY install an automatic opener myself?

If you are a competent DIY'er with a mechanically orientated mind there is no reason why you can't install and set up your own garage door opener. The services of a qualified electrican must be engaged to add a 13A fused spur in your garage.

Retractable doors are the easiest to install. Side hinged doors are a little more tricky. Canopy doors however are quite hard to set up correctly, a lot depends on the condition of the doors running gear.

We offer technical assistance for DIY installers if the operator is purchased from us.

If you do not wish to install the operator yourself, don't panic... we can provide a professional installer to do the job for you.
